Software engineer working for a company that designs a Search Engine. Maintainer of several websites including naswebsite.com I bought a NeTV because I want to be able to display notifications about emails, alarm system, and status of my websites (when they go offline) on my tv, but I also want to be able to display messages to my partner (including graphics) while I am at work. I mainly write software in Java, but I also write in C/C++/C#, and can (reasonably) manage linux based systems. A few things I would like to see on the wiki are:

• Firmware revisions and differences (bug fixes, improvements etc)
• A few tricks for ssh under windows (the 10 seconds isn't always enough when using DHCP, you need to set a static ip after the first connection then you have perhaps a second or two to connect)
• How to build a remote widget - I have a Thecus NAS that I can host HTML from but I don't want it to post directly to the NeTV, rather I want the NeTV to poll the NAS
• How to create a Widget - is there any source available

BTW I am not saying that I want someone else to write these, although I may like some help working things out, but I may be able to contribute to some of these.
